1 Policy terms for the year 2025-2026 has been can be downloaded or viewed here . Click here to download/view policy terms and conditions.
2 Site will be open for renewal of membership from 06 Jan 2026 .
3 The site is still open for payment of membership for the current year. Please pay your membership subscription for the calendar year 2025 . Also please post this message on your local Whats-app groups. If the payment for the current year is not done ,a member would be required to reapply for membership in 2026.
4 Applications for Primary membership and linked associate membership will be  open on 10 Jan 26.
5 Membership for children above 25 years is closed with effect from 2025.
6 A linked Associate member may buy a policy for an amount equal to or less than the Sum Insured bought by his Primary Member.
7 From 2025 onward  , both , the veteran and spouse will not be able to take two different policies so as to add the other as  a beneficiary. Only one can take a policy  and the spouse will be a beneficiary.
8 Current Escalation Matrix will hold good till 14 Mar 2026. New Escalation Matrix for Post 15 Mar 2026 will be provided by the then broker.

Sequence of events from payment of premium to Generation of E Cards

 

1.. The whole sequence of New Policy has been explained earlier. I am restating it in simple words.
2. ⁠When one pays policy premium on the website, a receipt would is generated.
3. ⁠The payment is credited  to SSS account one day after the payment to Razorpay.
4. ⁠Then payments for few days are consolidated in a Lot and payment made to the insurer.
5.  Thus it takes few days from one makes payment, hence 10th is being indicated as the last date for uninterrupted seamless new cover from 15th March. Please do not confuse it with 15th April grace period for consideration as an existing member from honis waived off the ‘1 year waiting period for some ailments.’
6.  Lives covered data is compiled by SSS Web Admin Lot wise and shared with the Broker and on to the Insurer. Prior that member would have a 48 hour window to verify their details and ask for  corrections if required by emailing to data@ssamiti.org
7. ⁠The group policy certificate is issued to SSS and Certificate of Insurance certificate is sent to members through registered email id.
8. ⁠E-cards would be issued progressively. Last time they were issued with the welcome kit in April.
9. ⁠In the interim the TPA supports members to get treatment if required.

10. Anytime , the member can check the status of  membership, policy payment and policy activated by logging into ssamiti.org.

Important Announcement – 120325

1.SSS is happy to inform that premium payments up to 09-Mar-25 have been transferred to the Insurer.

2.Lot lists 1 & 2 will be shared tomorrow after confirmation.

3.We will start sharing data of members & beneficiaries with Broker/Insurer/TPA from tomorrow 13-Mar-25 for placement of policy & facilitate any hospitalisation till receipt of e-cards.

4.Members are advised to login to ssamiti.org & verify own/beneficiaries’ data and e-mail to data@ssamiti.org, cc: support@ssamiti.org for any corrections (document proof to be attached) by 1200 hrs tomorrow (Lots 1&2), rest asap please.

5.SSS will make an earnest effort to transfer premium payments made during 10-12th to Insurer by 15-Mar-25.

update on 20  May  2025

Query : Has my premium been deposited with the insurer ?

Premium for nine lots have been deposited as on date. There are 1176 policy holders and 2284 lives covered. Please login and check your dashboard if policy is active. If not please mail to support@ssamiti.org with your SSS Id.

Query : when will I get my policy ?

1. It is a group policy.

2. All members will have a common policy number that is displayed on the dashboard when you login . The number is P0025200002/6115/100327. It is the same for all. 

3. Individual members’ E cards have been generated up to Lot 8 and sent through registered Emails . 

4. Individual members have also been sent their  certificate of insurance for the

5.  All that a member needs is his E card and the set of Contact numbers saved on their mobile phones. The contact numbers can be accessed here
