Having proudly served and done our duty on the borders of our country, a group of Veteran officers from Indian Navy, have joined hands together, to implement schemes for the welfare of serving and retired personnel of Indian Armed forces and their families. Accordingly…

Sainik Seva Samiti (SSS), an ‘Association of Persons (AOP)’, was formed by 14 Veteran Naval Officers in the year 2020 . SSS is governed by Agreement of AOP and Exhaustive Bye-Laws and with a vision to ‘‘Serve Beyond Service”, The Spirit of Brotherhood, Camaraderie and Common Desire to ‘Give Back’. SSS support Welfare, Health & Wellness, Quality of Life Measures for the Indian Armed Forces (Indian Army, Navy, Airforce and Coast Guard) and now extending to other related uniformed services .

SSS has approximately 2000 members, belonging to Serving and Retired Armed forces officers and their families. These members are entitled to avail all the welfare activities incliding Group Mediclaim policy, under the Health and Wellness program of SSS. This Mediclaim plan with New India Assurance Company, which has more than 6500 hospital network all over India and provide cashless treatment options at the attractive terms and conditions to these members. During pandemic, this had worked extremely well, as a reliable back up to the members. From January 2023, the SSS has decided to extend these benefits to other personnel of Armed forces and also other related Para Military organizations like Assam Rifles, BRO, Territorial Army, NCC. Uniformed services of Central Police Organizations like CRPF, BSF, ITBPF, RPF, CISF and their families, have also been included.

Why to Join us

SSS values the wisdom of the retired and serving officers of the Indian Armed Forces. It aims to engage in welfare activities, keeping in mind the positive impact that each of such activity can make. It also aims to works towards other causes that go hand-in-hand such as quality healthcare, making sincere effort to achieve its ideals.

By joining a group which has large number of serving and retired personnel from Armed forces and has potential to increase the number in thousands, members can get good “collective bargaining “. Services from various vendors, providing health, wellness and welfare services, can thus be arranged at reasonable costs.

SSS arranges the services from third parties, as a facilitator, with collective bargaining at no extra cost/profit and members have direct relationship with the service provider, to avail these services
