The last 4-5 months of 2022, have kept Board of Directors and the Team of Office Bearers very busy. I am happy to inform, that their hard work has shown some good results in paving the way for sustainable growth and expansion of SSS. The welcoming-in, of our Junior Commissioned/Warrant Officers/Chief and Petty officers and the Non Commissioned Ranks into our SSS family and sharing benefits of the Health & Wellness program, which was being debated since inception of the SSS, has finally been implemented.

Your Board has been very forward looking and has also decided to include the Paramilitary and other uniformed security forces personnel as well. It is my belief that this would be a “Win-Win” position for all the stakeholders.

In an another significant decision, the BOD has decided to reduce the cost of renewal of membership by 50%, by passing on the benefits, of better financial management and stable position of reserve and contingency funds. This has been done with confidence that your testimonials, as a Member, would encourage more new members to join SSS, helping achieve more efficient operation and improved sustainability. The possibility of reducing this further will then may come within reach. Team SSS is constantly endeavoring to bring down the operational cost further, to the extent possible.
