The flag officer served the nation with 38 years 11 months service in the Indian Navy and over 4 years as the Director General of the prestigious ATV Program with the grade of Secretary to the Govt of India. He is an alumni of Sainik School Satara, National Defence Academy, Naval College of Engineering at INS Shivaji, Defence Services Staff College and the College of Defence Management. He has specialised in Marine Engineering and leadership , large projects administration & management, ships and submarines operations, maintenance and material management are his forte. Presently he is undertaking welfare activities for defence veterans, conducting motivational talks in schools, colleges and organisations. He is also undertaking mentoring, counselling and guidance of future leadership of Corporates. The Flag Officer has been a member of the SSS since inception.
